Any mention of any copyrighted or trademarked work in these stories is not meant as a challenge to the copyright or trademark in question. We of the Crouton Generation have never made any money on these stories, and never intend to. For many of us they were a way to let off some steam in a creative way while we were working hard at school; some of us also chose to use them to sharpen our writing skills. Under no circumstances should these stories be seen as anything other than what they are: silly, sometimes perverse little stories that DON'T DO ANYONE ANY HARM.
     Other than previously copyrighted or trademarked work, the writers of the individual TCG stories retain copyright and trademark rights on their work. These rights include, but are not limited to:

1. Archive rights: None of these works can be archived in any other way at any other location without the express permission of the author(s).
2. Anthology rights: These works may not be included in any other anthological form without the express permission of the author(s).
3. Reproduction: These works may not be reproduced, except for one private copy for personal use.

     Many of the people, places, and (to a lesser extent) events in the Crouton Generation are based on reality. These realities have been sufficiently modified and fictionalized (e.g. "Starbase Harvard," "Kunz Powers") so as to make their intent as a joke clear.
     Any other resemblance to real places, actual events, or real people (whether living, dead, or caught in a subspace matrix) is entirely coincidental.
