TOP 10 SCENES FROM "THE PERFECT GAME" THAT ENDED UP ON THE CUTTING
ROOM FLOOR (but still might make it into the laserdisc release)
10. Lt. Del Zwangolxia of the Star Fleet Inspector General's Office swept
key evidence in the Alpha Centauri incident under the rug to preserve
the cover-up.
9. McDonagh tried to discuss Xavionite telepathic abilities with Kabeta,
receiving even greater anger from her for his trouble.
8. Caesarsalad and Guinan, who was revealed to be Caesarsalad's mother,
counseled Avenger on things to come. (We got the Spock scene instead.)
7. The famous Karl Bundy-Borg sumo wrestling scene...
6. Charles Barkley's walk-on cameo as one of the Klingon High Council
5. The Jez the Wonder Kitty love scene!
4. Zortylwankoid's coherent and impassioned plea to the Star Fleet
Inspector General's Office representative to go easy on the crews
of the starships that engaged the Borg at Alpha Centauri.
3. Dave Letterman's cameo at the funeral in "Mathers of Importance".
("Top 10 Things We'll Miss About Highlander:
#10. That lovely plaid skirt... #9. No more of his crazy breaking
into my house claiming to be Mrs. Letterman...")
2. The scene in "Still I Rise" in which Crossfire proposed to Kabeta,
just to be a smart-ass.
...and the Number One scene from "The Perfect Game" that ended up on
the cutting room floor...
1. Richard's various attempts to flirt the Borg into submission.

TOP 10 BLOOPERS FROM "THE PERFECT GAME"
10. The Riddler stumbling over his lines in "Ridley Field". (The scary
thing is, nobody noticed...)
9. Jon convinced Michael Douglas to show up in his place, dressed as
Crossfire, for the first day of shooting on "Mail Bonding". (Director
Darin Foat was, of course, in on it.)
8. Karim Farah and Sean Connery are both sporting some new scars since
filming "Ace in the Hole". (*They* are the ones that wanted to do their
own stunt work!)
7. It took Soraya twenty-seven takes to catch the "No. 2" button in
"The Bridge on the River Styx".
6. Did we mention that Katherine sprained her ankle in Boothby's
flowerbed? ("Rendezvous")
5. Practical jokers bolted down the swivel chair Missy was supposed to
pick up in "Froop Loops". (Sorry about that herniated disc, Missy!)
4. When Dessie's ears fell off while filming "The Iron Maiden".
3. Ben Cash, while attempting to ghostily emerge from the phaser printer
in "Nothing Up My Sleeve", lost his balance, knocking over the majority
of the prop computer equipment *and* Michael Kleber, who landed at the
bottom of the pile!
2. Sharon Stone's surprise visit to the set of "Nothing Up My Sleeve",
in which she walked straight up to Katherine and proposed... (We're
still wondering who put her up to it.)
...and the #1 blooper from "The Perfect Game"...
1. On the first take, when Mike whirled around to whack the Borg with
his baseball bat, he missed and whonked Jim Cameron in the head instead.
(From "Breaking Point". We'll be dressing up this clip with the "Wild
Thing" song and slipping it into Mitch Williams' segment on the 1993
World Series highlights tape.)

TOP 10 ANNOYING THINGS ABOUT THE DIRECTORS OF "THE PERFECT GAME"
10. William Shatner -- Man, oh, man. What an ego!
9. Novice director Jez the Wonder Kitty demanded a new can of Pounce
before shooting every scene.
8. Jim Cameron's tendency to pass out in the midst of scenes due to
his concussion. (See #1 on the last list.)
7. Bruce Beresford exclaimed "You're no Morgan Freeman!!!" every time
Jon flubbed a line.
6. Adam Nimoy -- His dad got him this job, didn't he?
5. Every time Bill Bixby became frustrated with a shot, he'd turn green
and destroy the set, setting back production another day and another
$100,000.
4. Rob Bowman's frequent half hour disappearances so he could put in
time at his other job (delivering for Domino's).
3. Jonathan Frakes' frequent "Volare'" breaks.
2. While directing "Thicker than Water," Katherine kept tripping over
the electric cords, causing the lights to go out, the camera to go
out, the wind machine to go out, her ankle to sprain...
...and the most annoying thing about a director of "The Perfect Game"...
1. Darin Foat's insistence on showing the dailies for "Mail Bonding"
with an annoying little robot named Tom Servo sitting at his side,
making wisecracks throughout.
