STAR TREK: THE SUMMER GENERATION

It is the first decade of the 25th Century.

While much of the crew is on extended shore leave with the excuse that the
Croutonprize is being "refitted," the USS Croutonprize has embarked on a bold
new and quite secret mission -- the exploration of the Lesser Magellanic
Cloud.  The Croutonprize is the first ship to do so, and if the reports
back to Star Fleet are good enough, the ship will return with a full crew
complement and colonization efforts will begin to establish a beach head
into this new frontier.  The ship has been outfitted with improved weaponry
and an 8th power warp drive.  Because Star Fleet is so distant, it was
decided that an Admiral should accompany the crew for Admiral-like duties.
Admiral Avenger has decided to take that role himself, and has left Star
Fleet Command temporarily in the hands of the very able Admiral Picard.

Star Fleet expects to encounter whole new races with unimaginable genetics
and abilities.  Admiral T'Lilith has also joined the crew, not only to be
with Admiral Avenger, but also to act as Ship's Senior Xenobiologist.
Lt. Cdr. Zenador from Starbase Harvard has also joined for his skills
in Xenology.

With the new upgrades to Zen, the ship can now be run by a smaller crew
complement, though it is the intention to eventually carry the full crew
complement once again.  Promotions have occurred all around and the Gaz
has replaced the late Lt. Cdr. Eric Moore as the ship's Second Officer.

The Croutonprize will be undoubtedly facing unheard of danger, but its
crew has so often shown its ability to get out of such scrapes.

Prepare to boldly go where no one has gone before....
